12月19、20日に、1学年では家庭科の授業で調理実習が行われました。「ぶり大根」を作る調理実習です。1年生が9月から育てていた大根を材料に使って行われました。家庭科の担当の坂田先生から調理方法を確認し、班毎に作業を開始しました。収穫した大根は少し小ぶりでしたが、1年生は丁寧に皮をむき、輪切りにし、調理を進めていきました。

約1時間半後、完成した「ぶり大根」を食べた1年生は、口々に「おいしい」「うまくできた」と喜んでいました。自分たちが種から育てた大根で作った料理はやはり格別のようで、かけらも残さず食べていました。

12月7日に東ティモールの学生の方たちと行われた交流の様子を、発表していただきました。その内容を、日本東ティモール協会会長の北原巌男さんが教えてくださいました。ぜひご覧ください。

Takato　Junior　High　School

In this school we saw that：

☆They learned English language

☆The students also present a musical　instrument taiko

☆We also have opportunity to play taiko

☆We see that all the students are punctual on all their school activities．

○There are many things that are new for us

1．We have to take off the shoe before enter the house；

2．We use the chopstick to eat；

3．We sit on the floor to eat；

4．We sleep on “futon”

5．We learn to be punctual in every activity

6．We learn to keep clean always especially the toilet

In spite of differences languages and cultures，we want to underline one important thing，that　is，love！

They express their love with their hospitality，smile，generosity and loving kindness．

That is the real INA means．For us Timorese，ina　means inan（mother）．We realized that they were really become our “Okasan＆Otosan”“We　are different in everything but we are one in love”

Conclusion

Finally we would like to say that every　opportunity that we had is unique and　unforgettable．

1．From this visit we realized two virtues：DISCIPLINE　＆　HARDWORK．

2．Study hard for the future development of our country．

3．Never give up．

We promise you that we will keep these virture to develop our beloved country Timor Leste．

East Timor students looked back to the visit to Ina, and they had a presentation. Mr. Iwao Kitahara sent us the pictures he took on that day. We thought of our country again through the program. Thank you very much for your wonderful exchange. We’ll be also good friends with each other for ever.

4月の観桜期活動の際、高遠中学校3年1組では、高遠町名物『高遠まん頭』にオリジナルの焼印をデザインし、製造元の「高遠まん頭 あかはね」（0265-94-2127）さんにお願いをして『石工の想い』というオリジナル商品を販売しました。

そのオリジナルまん頭を、卒業までに高遠町のPRをしたいという3年1組の想いから新春のお年賀や贈答品として再販売することが決定しました。ご興味のある方は「あかはね」（0265-94-2127）さんまでご連絡ください。

12月7日に東ティモールの学生の方たちとの交流が行われました。東ティモールは2002年に独立を果たした国で、21世紀最初の独立国です。現在はASEAN加盟を目指して、国づくりの基盤となる法整備に取り組んでいます。2008年に高遠町三義荊口出身の北原巌男さんが特命全権大使に任命されたことをきっかけに、伊那市や高遠中学校との交流が始まりました。

今回で東ティモールの学生の方たちが高遠中学校を訪れるのは2回目となります。まず高遠中学校の給食を味わってもらいました。その後、各クラスの授業を見学し、3年生と一緒に太鼓をたたきました。世界で一番丈夫な打楽器である和太鼓をたたき、お互いにとってとてもよい体験になりました。

東ティモールからはるばる高遠町まで訪れていただき、ありがとうございました。2020年、東京オリンピック、パラリンピックの際、伊那市は東ティモールのホストシティとなります。そのときに再開できるといいですね。
