この年度末をもって、ALTのクワンザ先生とお別れすることになりました。とても元気に、そして楽しくゲームや会話をして楽しませてくれたクワンザ先生。本当にありがとうございました。
クワンザ先生自身も、日本での暮らしを通して、日本語が上手になりました。とても流ちょうな言葉で、最後の挨拶（Farewell Speech）をしてくださいました。せっかくなので最後に、手良の子どもたちに伝えてくれたメッセージを英語で紹介いたします。手良っこたちもこれから勉強して訳せるようになることでしょう。
| Today is my last day at Tera Elementary. I want to thank you all for the past 2 and a half years.
I knew that even if I had a bad day, that once I came to Tera Elementary, it would become a good one. I enjoyed every day at Tera Elementary, and watching the students grow and learn made me very happy. I have come to love everyone at Tera Elementary. Words cannot express how much. My memories with you all will last in my heart forever. I want to tell you all that the world is much bigger than where you were born. So learn a lot, connect with people, do what makes you happy, and don’t be afraid to challenge yourself. And remember, if you believe in yourself, you can do anything.
